So I’m reading between a couple threads and getting mixed signals; and I am curious... is this or is it not sold (either just the hull or the whole ski)?

I put a deposit down on the hull and he backed out of the deal 3 days later. He sent a text saying he feels like a poophead and as soon as i responded refunded me the money. I didnt even get an opportunity to offer more money or anything. Some of you know i haven't had a ski for over 2 years and this was the perfect opportunity for me to jump back in. I have been lurking and not posting for months waiting for that deal. Panner was driving right by house so not even shipping fees... For me, every other option to acquire an edge hull is at least $2500 more. I was stoked to say the least and in those 3 days I went an bought donor ski (not rideable) and $1000+ in parts. I'm not trying to knock Panner because he seems like a nice guy but there are a lot of "great seller' comments here and that is misleading IMO. He said he is keeping for his stepson, and I get it, family trumps our deal, but I trusted his him and spent a lot of money already. Most of the skis and parts on this site are high dollar toys so making the decision to sell them shouldn't be taken lightly because there are trickle down affects. I went from all in to 0. My motovation to get another ski has gone completely out the window now and i have all these parts showing up...

In my world family comes first. I didn’t even have the deposit 72 hours. I’ve had a lot of things not workout in my life and there’s nothing I can do. I don’t think I coulda done anything to make the situation any better and I’m sorry for that. All I can say is there are constantly deals out there for decent parts and hulls. If this one situation makes a person not wanna get back into it than your skin isn’t thick enough because this hobby breaks hearts and literally breaks wallets. I think the bigger issues is the fact that I was offering such a good deal with free delivery on my way home and that’s more of a heartbreaker. Funny thing is I offered the whole ski for 14500 and was told he didn’t have the money for it. So honestly did u even have the money to get into the hobby at all?

If you saw his RV then it would answer your question. Everybody has different priorities. Sometimes those priorites trump wants and desires. For years I have had enough money in savings to purchase several complete Edges, or Freaks.......... But that money was earmarked for other things. When it comes to toys, any money comes from "Extra" resources. Rarely from any money in Savings Accounts. I say lets mark this deal up as on that there is no correct answer. Seller made a choice to not sell. Buyer has had the wind knocked out of him. Life will move on.
