2018 Superjet Trim

Hey Everyone! First post here! I have a 2018 Superjet and ride 4 or more times a week. I am a light guy and I dislike how heavy the bow feels. I want to have a small trim upwards on the nozzle to bring the nose up.

I was super excited to 3d print these nozzles from RSKI riders, until I realized that the nozzles were for '07 and earlier superjets: https://www.rskiriders.com/product-page/rski-riders-8-nozzle

Does anyone know of files like these for >'08? I'm happy to hear other thoughts, but I liked the simplicity of trying a different nozzle without making too many other modifications.

Thanks in advance!

Your ski already has a trim nozzle on it. Just modify it at the pivot point to angle up some......... Do some google searching, people have found ways to make your trim change the angle.

Could you explain a little further? Do you have any pictures or ideas on how to modify? I performed google searches before posting here and was hoping for a little bit more information from those who've done this before.

I had not heard of this. I am still fairly new to the stand-up world. I had a sit-down for 20 years and made the switch. Definitely investigating the "d cut plate" now. Thank you! I'm really looking forward to getting the nose up, it really drags right now.
Where you live and what do you do??? There use to be several guys here from your neck of the woods...............

We sell/install a lot of these plates. It really frees the nose up and make the ski feel much more playful. Popping off wakes, etc. NOT so good for log, wide open runs, or buoy chasing though;

You can just cut your stock plate. We use a paint can for a radius of about 6" 1/2 circle cut. make sure you chamfer, and take off any sharp edges. Couple of things though, we find the stock plate is weak, and IF you cut it you have no option of switching back if you do want your ski to carve.

Not sure if just adjusting the nozzle for up trim would really be enough.

Thanks for all the feedback! I ran across the Worx WR314 when researching the D-plate. I think I may try it this upcoming summer. I was trying to decide between that and this: https://www.blowsion.com/products/p...et-dynamics-ride-plate-concave-2008-super-jet

The reason I was looking at the nozzle is because I thought it might be an easy thing to switch often and play with. Plus, I think I'm only looking for a small amount of bow lift, but have option to play with more until I had porpoising and then determine how I feel about that. I am not a WOT guy, but when I have done it in flat water the bow appears to be grabby at times. I love jumping waves and doing stands.

Sounds like d cutting the stock plate will solve your problems then!

The Jet dynamics plate will NOT reduce nose pressure. I do not think you will be happy with this.

Thew ski is really still very rideable with a worx plate. It will feel more like an older SJ or kawi 750SX. You can still carve, and even go WOT it just is not near as stable.
