2018 Tigercraft M-1

Okay so here’s where everything is at pole is on. Motor mounts are in. Getting o-rings for the midshaft tonight then that is going in. All the cables are ran. Waiting on the extension for the steering cable. After that then the whole pump and back end of the boat will be finished up. All that is left is to drop the motor in and run cooling fuel lines and then she should be making smoke.

Over all impressions of this hull......it’s amazing. It does everything I want it to. Easy to ride. Slides, spins, and jumps just how I would like it to. Slowly working on cutting down the ride plate. But overall I would say I am extremely happy.

I assume the bottom deck is loosely based off the v2? And are those v2 tubbies?
Honestly I rode and sv-1 and felt it was closer to that than an aquabot. The back end would slide more like the SV-1. Tubies are probably pretty similar. I liked it way more then the aquabot because it was easy to get the back end to break lose.

That's what everyone has told me. Sounds like a fun ski. I like my FV, but been thinking about putting small tubbies on it.

I was between this and an FV. I tend to ride far far distances so I wanted something I could do that on. Very happy with it. It’s cool the layup of it because the top is full carbon and the bottom is fiberglass. I would not want it any lighter or heavier as it’s perfect for what I do.

Did you ever weigh the hull? Just curious what it weighs
She came in at 115 lbs. now granted that is with a pole bracket and the adjustable foot holds. Honestly the best thing about this hull is the fact of how solid and strong she feels. I came off an FR-2 which was was 175 ish hull only so this thing feels very light.

The more ride time I put on this package the bigger the grin gets on my face every time I pull the trigger. This hull is truly well rounded. It does anything you could ask of it. Yes if I rode more flat water I would have probably picked the FV over this. But if someone is looking for a good riding shorter hull I would highly suggest give this one a consideration.

It also should be noted that I am running one of torrent’s competition 148’s. This thing is so awesome and very light. It frees up weight in the back of the hull and make the boat feel very even and balanced.
