2019 College Football Smack Talking Thread

I am find with LSU and Ohio State, Georgia? No way. They lost to South Carolina.......... Clemson? They almost lost to an unranked team, they actually should have lost but the other coach went for 2 points in the last seconds and lost the game instead of going for the tie. Minnesota? Kinda like UCF a few years ago, Yes, they are un-defeated...... I have not really kept up with them, who all did the beat besides Penn State? Just looked, Nobody.............

LSU
Ohio State
Alabama
Oregon

Yeah, I have Alabama over Oregon based on we lost to the #2 Team at the time, we were 3rd. Oregon lost to Auburn first game of the season. Auburn is a top 15 team......

I dont think minnesota should be in consideration of top 4 ..... yet..... but if your comparing UCF of 2017 to MN of 2019..... I believe beating a top 4 team is much more credible than the resume that 2017 UCF had at this point and they were suppose to be in CFP contention. So to be fair though Minnesota hasn't played an overwhelming schedule but they beat every team they were suppose to plus a top 4 team... something that UCF not even close at this point in the season.... Im perplexed on Utah being at 7??? I think MN and Utah should be flipped....

Who did Bama play before this past weekend? ..... *crickets*
Georgia is up there because it hypes up the Auburn game while Alabama goes back to playing scrubs for two more weeks.
Gophers looked really sharp against PennSt. They have two more ranked teams to play too so if they win out they deserve to be a playoff team.

We had a sad schedule this year. Not our fault Ole Miss has dropped so bad, or Texas A&M... hell much of the SEC has gotten weak except Us, LSU, Ga, Florida and Auburn.

Just referring to the no loss season where they claimed they were national champs

Texas A&M? Really? Let's see, they lost to Clemson (ranked #2 at the time), Alabama (ranked #1 at the time), and Auburn (don't remember the rank). I'd say they are still considered a strong SEC team...

Not saying they are bad, But they are not in any top 25 poll. They are 6-4 (3-2 in SEC, 4th in the West). But calling them strong, ehhh. I like them. Friend from High School son plays for them, He has kinda a famous Father who played in the NBA for a few years!

I'm looking over the rankings again and just notice something...

Where did Texas come from?? Lol. From unranked to 19? Uhhh...

They do this random crap to justify what they do at the top, in this case to justify lsu jumping ohio st. That's fine, not much difference between 1 and 2. Lsu beat God while ohio st merely won by 59 points. I get it, they will find a way to get 2 sec teams in no matter what. But they do it like people wont notice, and its beyond obnoxious.

The SEC is usually the best conference, but right now its NOT. Period. Ranking an undefeated P5 outside the top 10 (baylor, for all the Homer's who dont actually pay attention) and putting Georgie and bama in position to get in upon winning out is literally vomit inducing.

Now do I think baylor has a chance in hell???

NO I dont. But georgia lost to a crappy team and bama lost to the only ranked team they've yet to play.

Lsu and ohio st are on their own level until one of them loses, so let's set them aside.

Penn st has one loss to a conference opponent who is undefeated. Yet they and the team that beat them are behind the team that lost to...SOUTH CAROLINA

This rank by committee playoff model is like a pay to win cellphone game at this point

Last but least is Clemson, a team who owes the mother of North Carolina's coach flowers on mother's day till she dies, as he gifted clemson a win with his 2pt conversion try which combined with being defending champs is the only reason they are even relevant

What about all those quality teams Ohio st. has faced? Lol. A win is a win. Shouldn't matter if it's close. I guess osu gets extra credit for that onside kick in a blowout win. I remember the last time Ohio st. played Clemson...that was a good game.
