This was our first build, and she's together and it went fairly smoothly. I was actually surprised that I didn't miss any parts. This was a father and son build project. It took us about 25-30hrs to assemble. Before we started we covered the hull in packing paper and secured it with blue painters masking tape. This protected the hull from any scratches during the build. The perimeter top of the engine bay was covered in about 5 layers of the blue tape to protect it during the build.
We filmed the entire build in time-lapse mode with our Go Pro, I need to create that video.
Here are the spec's. Motor wise she's on the small size, but the rider (my son) is a mere 135lbs. Also while there is a ton of room to improve on in the pump and engine dept. Our strategy was to get one of the best flat water hulls on the market, get it ridable, then upgrade as budget allows.
