I guess nobody really runs it. Laid back and we all just show up on the same weekend. Haven't had a good turnout since 2019 because they restricted the number of sites allowed per night for the past 2 years for the China Virus BS. That has been lifted and they allow a lot more sites per night. I expect a good turnout this spring ride

Gaylen Carlson lives around pismo and he's the one that takes all the pix of whoever wants to ski there. He's constantly posts riding pix on the pismo freeriders facebook group and posting the dates of the upcoming freeride. I'd have to say he's really the only one beating the pismo drum. last March the beach was closed and there were only 150 camp sites sold in october.

Who has camping passes? are they issued per-vehicle or can you have more than one truck per pass?

I might be making a day trip and/or sleeping in my truck (assuming I have a finished ski to try and ride surf on for the first time ever!)
