Ok then, I was mearly pointing out the obvious, like you said.
Why are ya getting so freaking defensive????

My ski is ugly, I don't care.... I was just razzing you like we always do to each other... I meant it in good fun

you don't even want to know the crap he was telling me at my house last week.. ask him what ski he wants to get... go ahead.. ask him..

The ONLY reason I am thinking about buying an RXT COUCH is because I am out of the extreme scene for at least another year! :crutches: :crying: That way I can at least get back out there to watch! :chairshot:

why does it have to be a sea-doo barge? get an old gp1200 or something mildly cool... :cool2:

I'm probably gonna get the RXT because it is the biggest and the fastest and when I'm done being lame on it.... my wife can use it to join me out at Hillsboro.

And I will make one comment on my injury..... I love the surf...WHEN there's surf..... I NEVER had more fun than on the MX track because the surf is GREAT ever day. I CAN'T get back on a bike and take a chance being incapacitated for a year again.:dead1:

Typical surf at the track and me doing the exact jump that almost killed me! I'm only about 20 feet in the air doing about 45mph! :cool2:

That looks really nice. I'm not up to speed on the ski though.

1. How is the steering setup? Custom? Off the shelf parts adapted? Any pics?

2. The stance has to be hard on your back, huh?

3. Any other details worth mentioning?

As I said before, good job. Love the paint and the turf (despite what was said)

the steering comes with it, Maros had it custom machined for the hood kit....

surpriseingly its NOT all that hard on your back....you ride it very similar to a B1 (both legs back and resting your weight on the bars..), but with anything its different and takes some getting used to..

hmmmm, details....none I can think of...

I havent ridden it yet..but both Bill and Butti have said that this ski freaking FLIES on the top end, but still trying to dial in the low end.......could have alot to do with how its propped (not sure of the pitch).. maybe saki or strick remmbers?????

she underwent final assembly on tuesday, and spent both weds and thurs afternoon at the beach with flawless performance...gotta love that :arms:

she'll still probably get some orange vinyl to smooth the lines of the hoodkit down into the body....but no real immediate plans......

if it's the motor i sold idok, i always had the same problem with it.. i bought that motor from an ex-racer chick down in the keys.. the motor always had GREAT mid-top (SPECIALLY when the dual 44's were on it!!!!!!) , but lacked bottom-end.. i put a single 46mm on it and that helped, but never had GREAT bottom end.. but enough to have a solid surf boat..

when i sold the motor to idok i told him i thought it might be a ported cylinder and when he dissassembled it, sure enough it was ported.. so.. i'm sure if you were to reprop it and maybe bump up the static timing and compression you could get some more bottom out of it, but then you really have to keep your eye on deto/throttle usage.. no WOT runs (but we all know that already, just repeating)..

i'll tell you what, after running that motor for a few weeks, the mid-top hit stopped bothering me, i learned to ride it like that, and it was a great surf boat, just not the best flatwater boat.

I never took any pix of the porting, but it def has had some work done to it.....

Bill is about 280 or so, so this motor might work out pretty well for him.....definatly will change the prop, I dont know what he set his timing at...in fact, I dont think he ever even took the fly off so its probably set at whatever saki left it at...
