Super Jet 24-7 pole bracket… spring options?

Hey guys I have this old school 24-7 pole mount and my pole is heavy as F … I’m trying to visualize how a spring would work on this mount. Is it possible?

Here's a sweet technical drawing, just cut one of the 90's off of the 750sx spring, slide the rubber damper over the newly cut end. Take that dumbell spacer thing out first.

I have a 24/7 pole bracket as well. I run my pole tight.

I think thats what I had on my 24/7 Chris Maros pole I got from Slymo on here(remember him, good guy).
Ya, I remember that middle hour glass brace piece was on there so it has to be.
