2 weeks riding here at Smith Lake(each end of the lake)
and today was at Guntersville Lake and I now have sooo
many new fans, everyone keeps telling me I am #1! LMAO

The inmature side of me says F'em, I think it sounds good
and performs great!

The mature side of me thinks it's time to hush it down a
little

I guess we will see which side wins this week.

yeah, I am constantly having to clean up after you..........

;)

It was late and my brain was rattled from listening to everybody bitch bout my Xmetal box all day. I can't decide which is louder, my X metal or everyone bitchin bout my X metal.

After I win the 2008 Amateur Freestyle National Championship I will ride naked and give everyone something else to bitch about.LOL

may want to take the ear plug advise someone mentioned earlier. cant really say if i thought it helped performance or not, been a while since i last rode your ski but i personally like how it sounds.

im wondering how loud an xmetal box would be just running single out the back

I paid real close attention to where the MOST noise was coming from yesterday, and my personal opinion is there is more noise out rear than
front due to MUCH bigger outlet in rear than front. I think the front creates
a higher pitch noise and rear creates the real bark. ??? Keep in mind, most people think I'm nuts.

My square runs a 760 engine with B-Pipe, PJS Waterbox (really no WB at all, it's a straight pipe, no baffles), rear exhaust only.

My roundnose runs a 760 w/ B-Pipe, XMetal waterbox, and dual exhaust.
The Roundnose is far louder.

It's definitely the front that puts out most of the noise. I have ridden with guys with X-metal single rear only, front only, and one front/one rear. The front only is the loudest, followed closely by the one front/one rear. Single rear isn't that bad. The extra several feet of tubing to the rear exhaust outlet muffles the noise quite a bit. You could always throw some sort of pisser in the exhaust near the front outlet to quiet it down.

Gameplan 1 for this week is to drill and tap outlet tube of waterbox and add a 'water in' line at the outlet to muffle it some

or

Gameplan 2 for this week, install X metal backwards where the outlet would be bout 6" from front outlet and add a tube and lengthen to rear outlet. I'm 99% sure gameplan 2 would really get things fired up!

In all seriousness tho, I'm adding water to it tonight at the outlet end of water box.

just out of curiosity, is this a new box? and what type of hoses are you using.
Oh yea, whats your engine setup?

It is a new one-BTW-U R THE MAN AND YER WATER BOX ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

701 LPW ported, B pipe mod chamber, frt Blowme outlet w/2' flex radiator hose, stk rear hose and outlet, MSD enhancer, stk 38's, 13/16 Solas, stubby cone, Worx grate, stk plate, ADA girdled w/33 domes AND MY STUFF RIPS!!!
It was good, added the X metal box and now it can really breathe and is really ripping. Everyone that rides it is totally amazed that a simple waterbox
imporved it sooo dam much. Personally, I love the noise, it's the rest of the world that sucks.

The only reason I am adding water is to please everyone but me. If it effects my performance, I hate it for em.
