And I'm really close to out of hardener... but have a ton of resin left... so I'll see when I can get more hardener in... might be a little while.. that Chop strand mat sure sucks up the epoxy... but I'm feeling pretty good with where I'm at since it's just mid April and I didn't really think I would get to ride it this year...
And I'm clearly going to be able to ride it this year... I hope by June to be done, by then lake Michigan will be warm enough to ride.. and if not I have a wetsuit..

Umm after this side it's definitely onto the reinforcing of the inside...

Then lay the exhaust and build the deck/ footholds

Laminating inside and out with
"blue digital carbon/kevlar"
1 layer for sure... maybe 2

You need to get Owens Corning to sponsor you!! And get a Pink Panther decal or two as part of the graphics. Should be super buoyant !! What are you using to 'shape' the pink foam? I just finished foaming my RN with the stuff, but it was all straight cuts. When I refoamed my SN last year I used a hot knife to cut it.....took forever. This year I used a cordless sawzall with a metal blade and cut the time down by approximately 37 billion %.

I wonder if this project was primarily to do something with the 300sx hull, or the 900 engine. It looks like it began with very little planning.

There's another guy on the 300sx facebook group doing this swap also and hes also struggling i believe, atleast the guy with the 951 300sx finished his and flipped it. Good entertainment
