I can't believe how thin some of the ski is, as you can see I broke through and cracked the bulkhead it was about as thick as 2 pieces of paper. I am going to reinforce the whole inside of the tray well after I get the pump glassed in I would suggest the same to anyone doing something similar.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

no, i didnt go off the stock length i am just going to lengthen it to whatever i need it to be. i wanted the pump set wayy back so stock length wasnt going to work.

I forgot!
hmmm my thoughts where that if you where to shorten the hull enough the pump would be very far back to where you are standing. if its not too late to place the pump area, maybe consider keeping the length the same as the superjet. It would suck to have to get a custom driveshaft anytime you spin your shaft splines. I like how clean the pump area was cut out, i need one of these for my next project.

decided to just completley remove bulkhead and fit in the superjet bulkhead so that i could move it back and make the stock shaft work and the motor will sit back further. started glassing that in and bolted up the pump so i could see how far it was going to stick out. think its all fitting in perfect how i was planning now i just have to finish a bunch of glass work and reinforce.

Anyone have any opinions..? i am going to move on to mounting the pole and doing the work on the nose next and am trying to decide if it is worth it to shave and round/reshape the nose or just leave it alone, it would look better if it turned out well or it could just end up being really hard to do and looking like :):):):) ruining most of this work. anyone done it and say its worth it?

I guess it would really depend on what kind of pole you are running, if I was running an RRP pole or a stock pole I wouldn't round it out.
