Well it rode like crap with a pole, so I did Umi x2 steering, ajp front sponsons and made rears out of a cutting board and its an awesome boat chaser now. Didn't work well in the surf.
A friend up in VA built a 300sx very similar to yours. He basically grafted in a square nose bottom deck to the 300sx top. He's running a 144 pump with a lpw 735 I believe. It rides like pure poop but he has fun on it and it will flip off a boat wake. Personally I like your build a little better it looks cleanly done..
Are we all just going to pass over how clean those rear sponsons look for being freaking cutting board ?! Haha. How’d you get it to bend over the rail like that ? Heat ?
Love the clean 300 build and execution until finish .
I personally am one who cut chopped rockered and left it to die until I gave the hull away . My buddy did finish his 300/750 swap and it came out decent . It’s hit or miss on these little hulls .
I also think this ski was very well thought out and executed, I love that it still looks stock at least from the side, where I see people screw up at is when they start chopping crazy amounts off of these hulls IMO they are short enough already , they are kind of like X2, 's in that respect , that one the guy did on Facebook and Youtube with the 900 in it was a dumpster fire.
