38 SNB high and low screws are same thread pitch

I bought some t handles for my stock SBN 38’s and the high and low screws have the same course thread pitch. The Blowsion kit comes with 4 t handles. A set of course thread pitch and a set with fine thread pitch. The fine thread pitch doesn’t fit my carbs, what’s the deal? I have no idea what ski they came off of as I bought it like this. Please help or sell me new carbs lol. 701

you are throwing your money away buying stupid poop like that anyway.
just put a piece of stainless steel wire welder wire in the slot of the stock screws and hit it one time with a hammer to close the gap.
on the beach if you need to turn the screw, a tiny tree limb makes a perfect carb tool if you cant get to it with your hand

There are several different types of dual 38s. The ‘Blowsion kit’ are extended T handle adjusters made by JetWorks for the late model SuperJet dual 38s. The high speed adjusters thread pitch is the same on all Mikuni SBN carbs, but the longer handle one is only needed for 04-up SJ carbs.

The low speed thread pitch is different depending which year and model of dual 38s. The spacing and design of the needle taper is different between the low and high speed also so high needles are specific to high and cannot be swapped to low even if thread pitch was the same.

You probably have dual 38s from a couch. You can look at the base of your carbs on the side, there is usually a stamp in the metal 62t or 64u (but not always).

PM to JetManiac for the correct setup for your carbs.
