Overall the ski is in very good condition, I take very good care of everything I own and this ski is no exception.
There are only two known issues with the ski.
The first is the hood. There are a few cracks on the outside of the hood as well as on the liner. When i was talking with Tem about repair options, he told me that this is a very common issue on the Badass hoods. Most people put an additional layer of carbon over the inside of the liner and sometimes over the inside surface of the exterior shell of the hood if it needs it.
If repairing the hood sometime in the future isn’t something you want to deal with, I have a brand new unfinished carbon fiber circus hood that I bought from Tem that I can sell you with the ski. (There will be additional cost if you want the new circus hood).
The second issue is the aluminum cooling lines. While I do not believe they are leaking right now, they likely will at some point in time, almost all carbon superfreaks with aluminum cooling lines have this problem. The two options for repair are to remove the turf and cut open the tray to replace the aluminum lines with stainless steel lines, or to run poly or nylon plastic tubing through the existing cooling lines and sleeve the corroding aluminum cooling lines.
My life is a lot different now than it was when I built this ski and I just don’t have the time to use it anymore. I’m not in a position where I have to sell it but it’s getting hard to justify keeping it with how little it gets used.
