and people say more than 5 back flips in a row are boring. how many times can I watch a guy get tubed?

X2! and I've been surfing for 20+ years! Unless you switch up the format anything longer than 2 minutes gets monotanous. For that matter even ski vids longer than a few minutes are boring. I want to be the guy actually DOING IT, Not watching a video of it.

have the local surfers encroached on your ride spot yet?

He is a surfer, and he rides a ski.

This video you posted by Tim Bonython was exceptionally nice Matty…he has an extremely sexy laid-back style. :usaribbon::usaribbon::usaribbon: I really enjoyed the guitar he chose by Tim Mcmillan as well…checked out a few of his vids too…great talent! (nice surf of course)

The tweed river sand bypass is in Australia and is used to keep that river bottom clear for shipping it has created the super bank. They clear the bottom of that river and pump the sand north and it has created numerous great waves from Snapper rocks to Kirra.
As far as Oceanside goes
We are really fortunate to have this ride spot.Last week we were riding there and there were no paddle in surfers and this guy pulled up on his couch right where we were riding and dropped off his buddies then anchored and paddled in then started getting verbal about us wanting to ride that peak.It was a lousy situation and a good thing we were on reserve.Anyone can ride there but if a injury or death occurs by collision due to a watercraft they will close the place down. I think they know that. Some are very bold. A storm will come at some point and change the sandbar then this won't be the spot.We have had a nice stretch of off shore winds and good surf. It's sure been fun!
