650/X-2 4 position bilge switch?

EDIT: See post 3

My X2 runs dual 500gpm pumps. I'd like to be able to do off, 1, 2, and 1+2. Do any of the switches on the market work like this? I just bought a 3-way rotary switch from JM for my superjet, haven't installed it yet, but I don't think it works like that.

ATM I'm planning on having to run 2 switches, or just wire them both to the same switch. I need 2 in the surf, but the stock siphon is usually enough for racing, so it's not a big deal.

If the stock siphon is enough for racing wouldn't you want both electric bilges off? I haven't seen a switch like you are wanting, I'd just run both on a single switch. Otherwise you might have to run two switches like you said.

Also don't need to make 2 jumpers. Can remove the center plug and have a single wire there. Those 2 jumpers could be used to run 2 bilges off one side, or one switch off either side if used individually.

I used to run a 3 way switch wired for either one or two bilges at a time similar to what vumad posted. I kept snapping off the knob and just said heck with it and run two switches now. I picked up some waterproof covers for toggle switches from bass pro and just use cheap plastic switches from the auto parts store. No issues in the two seasons I have been running them.

What reason would you possibly need to run one bilge or the other? Seems like a 3 position switch with the ability to run one bilge, two bilges or no bilges would be overkill and the ability to turn both bilges on and off with one switch would be plenty.

I agree with the why crowd. Just seems like extra wiring and potential problems. What benefit would that kind of setup offer? I can't think of any.

I made a harness with a diode in it that let me run none, one, or both with the three way rotary switch. Just make the "one" the bilge that's lowest in the hull. I don't think you're going to pull your hood off in the surf to plug and unplug certain pumps, are you…?

What did you use as a diode?

A surf ski needs the OEM siphon/bilge and one electric bilge... anything else is overkill and stoopid. ;)

Nevermind, just saw this was for an X-2... load that sucker up or do yourself a favor and dont run any (let it sink)
