Definately stole the wrong skis the Lightweight is so rare theres no way for them to sell or ride that without being noticed! Does he have insurance I hope? That would make me want to kill a mofo too! $20k easy for one of the skis ouch hope they are recovered in the same condition goodluck!

Let's hope guilt and too many people knowing about this prevent the theives from warehousing them for years or shipping them to another country. Pics of all the skis and exactly what was stolen could help if we keep this public it will be hard to hide.

Good luck on the insurance. There is another thread about how you can't get insurance for an aftermarket hull. The insurance companies won't sell policies for them.

why? the insurance company is taking a gamble that nothing really bad really happens and then if it does who cares, you get money to replace it but 100 more people are trying to pay them to insure their stuff at the same time, manage the money right and you make a bunch of positive cash off the influx.

Yeah my insurance asks me the value of the ski and insures it for what I claim it's worth. After market hull or what ever it doesn't matter as long as its registered in my state(Arizona)

Luckily my hulls have vins but I asked about aftermarket and they said no problem asking as I have a receipt or it is state registered theirs no problem since ther is a paper trail to prove it exists

Yes they have them its in some cars that are buy here pay here places my friend works there and puts it in every car thats leased

careful throwing that around, its highly illegal without the customers consent. if you get their consent then its worthless because they know its there and can remove it. my family has owned a car lot for 25 years, we have been down that road.

Progresive understands that dirt bikes atvs skis truck ect get modified so they let you add extra value of your parts And paint for a very small fee

Once you try to insure a hull/ski with a home built hin, they'll tell you they can't do it. Whole different ball game than a stock hull. I've tried, with progressive.
