440 in the Ocean????

I'm going to the oregon coast in sept and have a 440 with a few mods...(Ive rode a SN superjet there) and was wondering if any of you have rode a 440 in the ocean and how it was. Did yu get tossed like a tin can or was it fine?

Pin it to win it, dont worry about it. if that is all you have then make sure the carb is cleaned up and tuned, it has a flush kit, limiting rope, a prop to make you feel every little little thing that motor can give you and rip it. if you want to do bigger stuff hop on my superjet while im out there Ill have a blast surfing that thing for a little while. some of you might think im joking too.
440/550 are fun to surf around its challenging going back to basics I enjoy that challenge when i get the opportunity.

I just put a pjs top loading intake grate and it scrubbed a ton of power! I have a pjs water box coming and another wc pipe i might cut down...but have everything done to it except the bilge I need a variable impeller tho.... just a have 16 pitch on it.
Sweet! Just look for the pink n black zebra ski! LOL!
