i have a set of 44 do you think i will get more power or i should stay whit the stock one -wet pipe, tbm flywheel ,boyesen reed ,advent ignition , 190psi comp

SXR's come with twin 40mm (38) I bodies. What do you have that you would replace with a single 44?

i have the original set up 2 x40 but want to upgrade to 2 x44 do you think i will get a good improve

I don't think you'll get much of a gain going to SBN 44's. Others may disagree. You'll notice much harder acceleration going to SBN 46's and increased fuel consumption but it seems the stock I series carbs already use a lot of fuel. You really want a change go to 48 Novis, Full Spectrum orBlackJack carbs. Maybe others will chime in with their experiences.

Agreed, I had a set of 44's and I really liked them. Until I bumped up to a set of 48 novis. It is not a night and day difference. But it is something fairly noticeable. Keep in mind with the 44's you are going have to go with an aftermarket intake mani

If you want sell your stock sxr carbs or 44's i would be interested in them i need carbs just bought 800 short block.
