650/X-2 47mph for $200 thread?

Just read through all 22 pages of that thread over on pwctoday. How do those mods affect low end? My buddy had a 650sx with a 42mm keihin, mariner pipe, bored intake manifold. His ski FLEW up top but seemed to lack low end. I've been looking in getting a bigger Carb to replace my little 28mm but will I loose low end in doing so? Thanks guys. My goal is more low end to pop off wakes.

I had an x2 that I stretched the pump cone 4 in. 44m sbn and ported intake. 180 comp. and prop. It had a good step to it.
