I have a couple waterproof dash mounted switchs that I use as bilge switchs. I sell them for $12 + $9 shipping.

There's no reason to turn it on/off unless you have total loss. I leave my rule 500 running all day, about 8 hours, and never shut it off. I have a good deka battery and my ski starts well. I also have a lanyard so it gets started often but it starts right. A simple bilge like the one I got from SXIpro works very well. It sticks out but there's no reason to toggle it every 5 seconds. It's mounted out of the way and I only touch it when the ski is out of the water.
