Sorry what happened to your ski.....but you should move on.

Assumption is the mother of all F'ups.....

And offering money for something like this is crazy...IMO.
You did not see it when it happened and even if someone tells you "they saw it",
they could also be wrong, unless the person they are referring to assumes the responsibility.

Trying to do CSI work on something like this might open a different can of worms.

Seriously.....really sorry what happened to you.....but you should move on.

The guy that did this is a pansy and a coward if He knew.....but again it may have happened without him noticing it....I dunno.

Sorry but I am trying to remain neutral and hopefully give you a different perspective.

Going out on a witch hunt at this point is insane.

I think your missing the point all together...Sure you can move someone ski to give you some more room to work on yours. But did you actually damage their ski? If you had done damage to someone else's ski would you say anything to them?
I am sure if you came out that morning someone moved your ski down near the water and you found it floating 20yrds off shore you would be singing a different tune.

i didnt miss the point there chief. i think it sucks i would be pi$$ed too, but to offer money is a bit rediculous. i would not damage some ones stuff and not say anything. but lets say for instance since i have a blue ski and someone moved it multiple times like they did and those people dropped my ski on it. (it wasn't mine cuz mine was nowhere near that location) that would not make it my resopnsibility. i hate that that it happened, i really do but two threads and a ransom is a little much.

Shoot.....that does suck....but Korn and I slammed in to each other pretty dang hard in waves a couple of weeks ago on a brand new Trinity SXR and a brand new Waterdawg Envy...we stopped...gave each other 5...and went back to rippin....traded some paint/gelcoat...:Banane01:

If you are worried about paint and plastics on toys(dirt bike jetski etc)
DONT RIDE IT stay at home and look at it all day.
Not to say if I damaged some elses property I would pay or repair the damage

BUT REALLY this is a little much Life happens and most humans suck
Get over it and go thrash on that x2

If I crashed it I wouldn't be mad at alll. I'm mad because I didn't do it and somone else did and didn't have the ball to tell me. It's more the point of the whole thing for me.

the thing is do you know how hard you would have to hit it to crack it. they would have had to have the ski over there head. ive hit and been hit in the surf. and couldnt even find where they hit. and 500$ dang!!!!! there was someone selling a running x2 for 400$ there. i mean for real dude!!

Its clear it was from a ski being dropped on it. There is blue paint and you can see the impact.
The $500 was to get someone to come forward and tell me if they saw somthing.

Ya there are tons of beat up skis out there. But a clean stock hull is hard to find. This ski still has the barcode sticker stuck on the hull.

What ever Ill never know who it was but I now know never to leave anything on the beach!

Its not the point of fixing it. I own a shop and fixing it isnt a big deal its the fact that someone did this.
And if I paint it I am going to paint the whole hull losing the stock sticker and stock look that was the reason I bought the ski.

who is worse? the guy who accidentally hit your ski and snuck off or you desperately trying to find the guy to shame him even though its not a big deal for you to fix it?

What happens if you find out who did it? your ski is still broke, if someone sniches they'll be a narc and the other guy will be a dick.

what if the guy told you he did it at the time? you own a shop and it's not a big deal for you to fix it. would you have made him pay you for time and materials? probably not.



your ski got dinged and that sucks. everyone feels bad for you. now you are making it worse.

Are you kidding me? Its a clean stock hull, I can paint it but it wont be a "clean stock hull again"

What ever man I still had a great time even with my friends leg getting jacked up, my motor blowing on one ski and a ski getting droppd on my other.

I don get how you guys are all on my case about this and not trying help me find who did it.
The $500 was more to get people to look at the post I know i willl never know who did it.

dude it sucks man but i have to agree w/ the sluts and everyone else.....worryed about paint on a freeride boat really>? :):):):) hitting half the ski's iv owned with a hammer would prob be a improvement hahaha blame smurf though his is blue and with that 500$$ me and him could get over 248 steaks at the keg.....(including tax)
