300/440/550 550/650 swap

I'm thinking about swapping a 650 in an SX hull I have laying around. I know you need a bed plate and a 650 exhaust of some sort but what about electronics? Any info is helpful! Thanks!

When we do a swap, I use the electrics for the engine. IE 650/650, 750/750 etc. I mount the whole e-box.

You can use 550 electrics with a 650 stator and voltage regulator, but I have not personally done this.

This wasn't mentioned so I will mention it here, it really depends on what pump the hull has , 650 -750 engines don't work with 300-440 pumps, you need a 550 pump minimum and a fairly large pitch 550 impeller to run either of those engines in that hull and that's minimum , you would be much better off with the 750 pump conversion.
