You can not modify you own. you can buy new, but they are very pricey.$1300+

to run a 5mm very little to no mods are done to the case.

6mm to 8mmm and up require case mods to work.

6 to 8mm set ups don't come cheep$$

But you can send off cranks either trashed or in good shape to have stroked, right? You don't necessarily have to buy another crankshaft if you already have one to have it stroked.

No you can't just send off a standard stroke crank and get it back as a stroker.

Let me rephrase that.

You can't turn a standard stroke crank into a true billet stroker.

On the other hand you can have the big pins replaced on an OEM crank with offset ones to add additional stroke. Not something I would run, but it is an alternative.

Well, no one said the word "billet" yet, till just now. I think off-set 5mm OEM cranks are perfectly viable and reliable options. Any longer than that and I would only consider aftermarket options.

i wouldnt run a welded re drilled one
the rad is a much stronger and better balanced crank
