AH HA!!!!!!

GO TO THE XFT WEBSITE AND CHECK OUT A 10MM $1200...(CHECK OUT THE TURNOVER ON CC)

Im gona do that...crap now i hav2 save!1:(

Actually, I've analyzed the benefits (in gained ccs) of a 1mm change in stroke vs. a 1mm increase in bore. At the 800+cc range, you are better off increasing by 1mm of bore than 1mmm of stroke. With the 10mm stroke, you have to really push the limits of OEM cases or make custom cases.

Create a spreadsheet in Excel. Have one column as bore and the other as stroke and play with the numbers.

Here's the equation as entered into Excel for bore and stroke entered in meters:

1000000*2*B2*3.1415927*(C2/2)^2

For example, stock 701 would be bore (C2)=0.081 and stroke (B2)=0.068. The above equation gives 700.81cc.

Math can be fun.:Banane01:

the advantage of the longer stroke is torque baby
it pushed harder on the crank as the lever is longer

they make more grunt
Would you push 10mm with modified cast 62T cases though?

But the RAD's are all gone. Hope another company steps up and makes billet cranks again.

Crankworks are making billet ones. I have two of their 8mm's, and they are a very nice piece.
