61x 62t 64u engine codes

Okay sorry if this has been answered but i got a wuestion about cylinder castings and if some top end cylinder swaped.

So my question is i have this bone stock pos ture 6m6 motor that was blown up atlest the top end would need a over haul. But my plan is to build a top in race motor. I know a 64u is 760 a 62t is 701 as well as the 61x and my 6m6 is a 650. I know 61x and 62t have different port timing the 62t is a good mid to top cylinder and 62t is thicker casting and the cylinder casting to sleeve lip is lower in im not mistaking.

Will my 6m6 cylinder except a 62t sleeve or a 61x sleeve better.

Or can the 64u be fitted with some work?

64u cylinder is just a 62t 701 NOT 760
You are correct about porting
62t sleeves are a couple of thousands bigger than 61x O.D.
And both are bigger than 6m6. Your cylinder casting will need to be bored to accept either of them.
Wouldn't recommend it though, 6m6 exhaust port can't be ported out enough to support either 61x or 62t (meaning if you do port it out that far, you'll go into the water ports)
Your 6m6 can be punched out to 81mm making it a 701 and then port the exhaust out to its max.
Probably best just to find good 61x or 62t barrels and clearance your cases to accept them
