61x , 62t or 64u

I’m sure this has been answered but I’m building a new ski to me and want to build a big bore motor 760 ish what cylinder should I go with for best all around performance and low end grunt??

Who is doing the building? Port Work? I would contact him. Each Builder has packages that they have come up with that works really well if the customer follows the advice (on parts)

I am going to say this, most here will either disagree with it or not uinderstand it, there is no such thing as bottom end , the only thing that matters is how fast you can get your engine into its usable power range, that can only be done with the right combination of porting, pipe and carburation, but it can be done on nearly any engine if you know what you are doing.

Thanks for input and well written response. Only thing I understand prior to this post is all of those cylinders have different port timings to start with

Why would you deck the bottom and why do the 61x guys care ? Just trying to build my knowledge up before I pull trigger
Go on google (because it seems to bring up better results easier for me at least) and type your question, “decking 760 cyls xh20” or “porting 760 cyls” and take a look around at some threads. There is tons of great information on here regarding just about everything you’ll want to know. If you can’t find what your looking for I’d be happy to elaborate further for you.
I think the third engine I built I used 760 cyls instead of 61x cyls and I never went back. I knew just enough of the basics to be dangerous with home porting st that time and I was very pleased with the outcome.
A decently setup set of 760 cyls will rock your world with dual 44’s and a b pipe.

Right now you lack the basic knowledge to make a jetski work the way you want it to. The internet cant help you very much, it will often cause confusion. If you don't want to put in the time then pay someone you trust and be happy.

Send a 760 to @Jr. he will make it rip!!! I love mine!!!!! Paired with a 148 torrent with proper prop pitch is and awesome combo!!!! Also need other supporting mods, pipe, head, carbs, and intake. Do it right the first time, it will save in the long run
