Is it worth pulling my 61x apart to swap out cases to a 62t, i was given a set of cases a few days back and i was wondering the performance i would gain is worth the work, i am currently running a protec pipe with a recreational port and shaved head

The T cases will flow more air...if you wanted to run dual carbs it would be well worth the swap. If you are wanting to stock with a single carb then I don't really see any gain in it.

Yes, yes, yes!
There are heaps of reasons why the 62T cases are better than 61X, which I'm sure many people will reply to your post with all the advantages, but without going into all the specificsthey are a performance enhancing upgrade for sure.
The only disadvantage is your 61X inlet manifold & reeds won't fit the new cases, so you will need to replace these items at the same time.
