61x Electrical Problems, Any input appreciated!

Bought a RN with a 61X. Ran fine for an hour after I bought it, then lost spark.

Changed out the CDI and Coil Pack, Bam had spark again. Rode it for another 3 hours then lost spark again.

I haven't taken the Ebox apart yet to see if anything has come undone, I will do that this evening. I was just curious, with everyones experience, could there be something else wrong with the ski that would cause these parts to go bad that fast after replaced? The parts I used were not new, but clean OEM parts.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I'd start with the start/stop switch. Water intrusion causes it to trigger, dries out over time and starts working again...until it gets wet again...

Unplugging the white and black wires is the best way to test for this, just be prepared to stop the engine in another fashion by either plugging it back in or covering the intake.

Here's a write-up Quinc did on how to dismantle and repair the start/stop.

I did read a few posts on this. Just to make sure i'm understanding, if I unplug the black and white wires, and still get no spark, this means the start stop switch is not the problem?

Next culprit is the stator. Since it's intermittent, I would check the harness for breaks in the brown/white and ground wire, particularly right at the case grommet.
