Custom/Hybrid 61x throttle cable/carb

Working on a a build and using yamaha components for the first time. Wondering how the throttle cable gets mounted by the carb? I'm assuming there is a bracket that you use which attaches either to the engine mounts or on top of the intake manifold. Could someone post a pic or a description of how this typically is done? My Kawi has a mounting spot built into the intake manifold and it used to have a bracket which mounted on the engine mounts.

If its a stock manifold there should be a mount for the cable. Most aftermarket manifolds also have mount locations. Post a pic of your application.

It's a plate that fits between 2 gaskets below the carb - index #12

And a better result. You will also need a second carb base gasket if you only have one.

And if your not using a choke, cut that side off the mount and smooth out the edges.
