I've typed it a bunch too. But I'll make a long story short. Both 701 (62t) and 760 (64x) share same cylinder casting. Steel sleeves are different only at the bottom skirt diameter (so the 701 will fit in the 62t cases where the 760 needs the larger 64x cases to except larger sleeve(or bore the top case half of the 62t)). 701 sleeves can be bored to 84mm which is the stock bore of the 760 (actually only 753cc). But the 760/64x sleeves can go to 86mm (780cc). Exhaust port timing on the 701 sleeves is little over a 1/2 degree lower then the 760 sleeves, intake ports are the same. Both the 760 and 701 sleeves have the exhaust port hang down lower then the cylinder casting. Best budget combo is 760 cylinder with no base gasket and ada ya7637 domes with the squish band cut on the lathe to correct squish clearance
