I bought a new ADA girdled head for a 62T topend (701cc) and the domes, headbolts and head are all shifted about 1/8th closer to the carbs side of the motor. I never knew this... and I didnt see it mentioned anywhere on ADA's site. Im just checkin with you guys, is this normal?

Ya know what? Now that you say that it sounds about right. I put a girdled head on my 62T and the girdle bolts didn't line up worth a crap, I stuck an identical head on my 61X and it went on perfect with no problems.

All you have to do do to put it on a T cylinder is grind the casting a little in a couple spots so that one or two girdle studs will clear. The heads are exactly the same. It's been a while since I've looked at it, so I can't remember with absolute certainty though. Bottom line is they are the same with the exception of the T cylinder needing some clearancing.

Got it all firgured out, heh, The cylinder isnt seated entirely on the intake side so it tilted the cylinder along the girdle bolts slightly. Thanks for the help guys!
