Super Jet 62t ebox wiring question... battery and starter cables backwards?

Does it matter if I have my battery, and starter cables backwards on the relay inside the ebox?

I know the relay basically just opens the flow of power, my concern is on the battery getting any charge back from the the stator... will it still charge?

Now I'm going crazy, I found 2 diagrams that both show it in different directions...

The grommets on the ebox are facing up in the ski, so the battery cable should come off the left, and the starter off the right of the ebox if you're looking at it from the front of the ski, right? More clearly I guess, battery side should be the grommet closest to the carbs, and starter should be coming off the side closest to the exhaust... right?

Doesnt matter which way power flows through the relay.

It's not going to have any impact on the battery getting charged if the wires are switched on the relay?

i had them backwards when i installed my msd and it would not crank over until i switched them the right way.
