62T swap from a raider to blaster1

Here are a few pics of how I put a rear W/B in my 1100 blaster, I think that the expansion pipe outlet is in a similar spot as the 1100 exhaust.

holy crap!!! just got back from first test run!!!!!!

This engine makes sooooo much power, the ski jumps so much easier out of the water, and goes so fast!!!!!!HUGE DIFFENERENCE over the lil 6r7 that used to reside in my blaster. and my bro and i are prolly just gonna leave the pipe sticking out the side. it looks awesome and kind of reminds me of a sportbike. and it sounds awesome with the westcoast resonator!!!

Why didnt you just find a Blaster pipe and put on it? I think if you had used a GP760 pipe you could of used the stock waterbox. Not sure.

I have a 62T/64u in my blaster also, its a huge difference.

I dont have those parts laying around in my parts bin. I also dont have the money to buy a blaster specific pipe, ( i would if i could). I never had a any blaster specific waterbox, (mine never came with one).

mind you i got a whole donor raider for only $100, that had a seized pump with a 62t that needed nothing and ran perfect,.

But u can sponser me and send me parts!!!!:439:

also isnt the bolt pattern from the head on a blaster 61x/62t different from a raider 62t, so even if i did have a stock blaster pipe i couldnt use it. but i guess a aftermarket pipe would have worked, but like i said$$$$$

1100 blaster! any more pics?

sure, here are a few.
It's a fun ride, but I have yet to prop it correctly to take full advantage of it.

I just put a 62T out of a raider into one of my other blasters with a Factory pipe & it makes for a fun ski as well. You should have fun with it.

for free!? damn, but would those not fit a raider62T? anyways my blaster came with a hacked up bulk head.

that 1100 blaster is sweet!! i see some custom motor mounts in. How difficult was it to line up, set up the motor mounts? how different is the bedplate?

how about a 1200 blaster? or some sort of yamaha 4-stroker?

the stock pipe is crap. the raider pipe works much better. more power and it wont fall off like most a.m. pipe do.

It is a rather easy swap, the worst thing about it was the waterbox.

When building this one I was talking with a guy in Australia who had one with a worked over 1200 that was very nice. I had tried to talk a buddy into trying to shoving his spare RXP motor into a b1 hull, but it is just way to big. The next swap I'm going to try is a 951 into one of these, someday.

was was going to do the 1200 swap. i have all the parts ready to go no less. then i changed my mind. the b1 with the 1200 will not make a good wave jumper. i have ripped the motor plate off the bottom with a 701 the 1200 will just make it happen quicker. if you are on a lake the 1200 is the way to go. nice job on yours.hows the run time on a tank of gas? not to long i bet.
i have a spare b2 hull i mite just drop it in that hull. that ski is a tank in the 1st place. no big loss droping the 1200 in.
