63n jetting?

Using a stock 63n (62t/62t dual 38’s) out of a waveraider I believe in a standup with stock 61x pipe. Does anyone know if the stock couch jetting is the same as a SuperJet? Never had a yamaha with a stock motor/pipe

I know the stock 61x pipe is pretty restrictive, especially compared to a 62t/62t pipe which is a bit more free flowing. With that being said I wouldn't be able to guess the jetting. Would you be putting a 61x cylinder on the 62t bottom end? If so, get an aftermarket pipe on there and then you can get a better idea on some baseline jetting figures.

I have done this combo many times. I LOVE this engine..... You will need to port match the exhaust manifold to match the cyl.

I jet them the same as I would a stock SJ. If you are running a stock flame arrestor box, leave as stock SJ jetting. If you have aftermarket flame arrestors, maybe milled the head, advanced timing you will need to lower pop off (95 grm sprg) and maybe jet up a little (70 & 135)

Depending on what raider your engine is.... 1995 for instance came with 67.5 pilot, and staggered main jets 120 and 130.

I have genuine Mikuni carb kits, needle and seats, jetting, springs, and more here if you need help please feel free to reach out.

For my son who’s only 65lbs so leaving 62tcyl and stock pipe for now. Plenty of power, he’s coming off a stock 550 so will be more then enough.

Thank you. Using 760 head gasket and might advance the timing a little.
