64x 760 in superjet

Hey guys I know there's a bunch of threads about this but I can't seem to find them. I recently swapped a 64x 760 into my superjet. I had a 61x 701 in it before. Used the 44s that are on the 760 and everything. Swapped the electrical to match the 701 msd. BUT..... I don't feel the bottom end that I had on the 701. Compression is at 185psi and running a b pipe. What are your thoughts about the new motor?

A 760's port timing is different than 61x, a 760 makes MORE horsepower than a 61x cylinder, but at a different rpm. Prop the setup to get into the horsepower faster, and you will have more bottom mid and top than a 61x cylinder, don't believe the "61x has more hit", prop that thing down to rev 6900-7000 and rip it

Right on. Thank you. I'll try it out after I get my cosmetic damage done from Daytona lol.
