Munkie,

Did you do away with the OEM pump bolts? I haven't tried the fit of the trim cable bracket with the OEM bolts, but it doesn't look like they'll be long enough.

I haven't got my trim kit yet, it's getting shipped with my new motor when it's finished, so any pointers you have installing the trim I'm all ears

Wow... I expected better from x-metal. I always thought their trim was a bolt on and go. I debated getting that trim for a while for simplicity over the CATS. I would've been pissed if I had bought that trim to save me effort only to have to work just as hard to fix something else to make it work.

In reality the nozzle work was not so bad. I would have thought it was bolt and go as well...however, saving the extra money over the the Thrust was well worth it. I had a CATS system I bought for $75 bucks a while back. I stole the nozzle off that and gave $325 for this trim setup. I've got $400 total into it. No way I could have got a Thrust or Blowsion setup for near that price. Extra wrenching usually makes me want to puke but this wasn't so bad. The extra money could have been spent on an EPIC (if I didn't already have one) or half the money for a used mag pump. The XMetal trim is well worth the added elbow grease to save some cash.
