Update, Finished putting the ski back together. Fired it up for the first time in about six months! I can't wait for the ice to melt so I can test it out.:dance:

The ice finally melted! I took it out for a very quick ride. It was too cold to ride long. It was glass but I could still tell right away it hook up way better. I really need to ride it more to get a good feel.:cheer2:

Most likely a modified/fabricated one with some glass work.

I think you are heading to uncharted territory with that. While visiting "Frankensteins Lab" that subject came up, but the 650 pump seems to have all the performance benefits without the extra gasket sealing issues. The 750-800 pumps might be better suited for racing applications with the quick change prop option (no silicone to dry in the pits).

Then, what scoop grate fits that pump shoe? Keep us posted.

Pump looks good in there, Great idea with the pump cone, I know they work well on the sxr. Is that an x2 trim setup on the pump and are you running a trim system?

I rode the ski today! It was 73 and sunny. I can't believe how hard this thing hooks now! I used to just spin the prop down low. Now it explodes out of the water. The 140mm has no problem hooking up. Im sure the prop and TBM pump cone help. For any one with a FX-1 looking to improve hook up, This is a great way to do it.:Banane01:

Since all my friends skis are apart and the weather has sucked, I cut up the back of my ski. I wanted it to be different. A good friend had done this to his ski and it looked very sexy. I hated cutting into a perfectly good ski this close to summer but now I'm glad I did it. Let me know what you think so far.
