650 pump on a 750 hull

will a 650 pump fit in the place of a 750 pump, on a 750 hull, if the 750 pump shoe is not in place?

i know the intake and its bolt pattern will have to be modified, as well and the 650 pump being siliconed in... but is the cast 'shoe' on a 650 pump the same as the shoe on a 750 hull?

asking for a friend....

ive heard the 750 pump shoe will fit on a 650 hull, with some extra grinding.

this leads me to believe the 650 pump will fit on a 750 hull with some extra silicone.

right?

No, the 650 shoe is much more narrow than a 750.

i have a hull in this process now and it does not seem to be much of a gap. the shoe or ski will have to be reshaped a little for it to sit flush on the front mounts. i will post some pics at a later date
