650 SJ 91’

Hello. I recently purchased a 91 650 super jet. I need to fabricate some front hood stops as I cannot find any used ones and mine are missing. Does anybody have any photos of one that I could use as a referenced to make some? Thank you.

Tab is stainless 20 mm wide. 2.5 mm thick. Around 30 mm tall. It is a Z shape.

It's pretty common for people to replace the handlepole on a SN with a RN and corresponding "conversion" pivot bracket. As such, there's typically some SN pivot brackets just bouncing around in people's parts bins. I think I threw mine away to declutter, else I'd offer those Z pieces to you. Have you posted in the marketplace section of the forums saying you want to buy those? If not, it's probably worth doing.

Thank you for the photos. I should have worded it better. I have those Z clips. It’s the ones on the front of the hood that I’m going to need to fabricate.

IMO, yes. Stronger, can be cut to your preferred length, is way less “klunky”… it’s sorta preference, though.

No worries. Thanks for looking though. Do you have a sn? And if so when you get a chance could you send a pic of the front of the hood so I can see what they look like. I’ve only been able to find them on a schematic and I can’t see a lot of detail.

Is there any way you could get me the measurements of the brackets that are located on the front of the hood that mates with those z clips? Those are the one I need and can’t find any info on the. I have some rectangular tubing just need some dimensions
