650 vs 701 stearing cable

Just bought new cable for my 1990 superjet and now i decided to build 1998 hull instead so
Can i make 650 sn superjet cable to fit that 98 hull?

I know it is not match but can i just weld it longer or something im good with tig

I want to start my build and dont want to wait many weeks for new one

While we are all here i ask this too
I bought midshaft bearing housing to that 650 and now it wont fit to my 98 sj. Do i need to buy complite housing or can i use 650 shaft and just find bigger housing

The steering cable will work just fine.
You will need a bigger housing the midshaft is the same.

But some says that there is not enough throw in 650 cable is it true

Btw can some one tell me what is the name of that plastic part that cable runs thru.. cable connector is only name i have for it but cand find it on ebay.. i need whole package that has seal, stopper, body etc... or does someone have extra and want to shipp it to me

I ran one on my rn it worked great.
I have midshaft housings and the steering cable holder parts. Can make you a nice bundle. Pm me.

SN 650 cable will work just fine. Many guys use them in rickters and high dollar builds for the extra length of the SN cable.
