650/X-2 650sx footholds

Hey fellas, I've had my 650sx for about a year now, added some parts, but I Think I'm about as far as I can go trick wise on it. Question is- do you think its worth putting footholds on it, or just sell it and get a SN SJ? I'd really like to land a barrel roll soon, and Idk if thats gonna happen on the 650 lol. If you have footholds on yours, post a pic, and let us know which ones you used. thanks!

I too have a 650sx I completely redid it this winter. I got some lifter wedges for like 30 bucks. I am going to mount them to the side. I might have to screw it and turf over them. It is a lot cheaper then foot holds and you wont have to cut into the fiberglass. As for a sn super jet they are a bit heavier then a 650 and personally I do not think they are worth the money unless it is the newer type sj.

If your goal is a barrel roll off your own wake, its not going to happen on a 650. Sell it and get a sn with a 701 and start moddding it.

The focus here is extremely narrow and has little interest outside of a Superjet or aftermarket ski. Try PWCToday.

Not sure what you meant here, if you were just using my quote as an example of the site as a whole (which I agree with). I don't even own an SJ (X2 and an SX), and have no intrest in buying one. I was just pointing out that I have not ever seen or heard of anyone pulling a barrel roll with a 650sx. If that is his goal (as was stated) the easier path would be to go with the SJ.

But by all means, if what you want is to stick with the sx, have at it. I would love to see a 650sx get flatwater rolled, it'll take a lot of skill and a lot more power than a mildly modded 650 has. Maybe snivilous with his nitrous setup will get there.
