no that i know of and i dont know if there is a pump all i can see is the impeller, no pump, and it looks fine i mean what would i be looking for?

i mean it ran fine thn i turned it off, started it again a minute or so later, and it was acting like that! and i dont know much about jet skis, so..

the thing your impeller is bolted to that whole assembly is your jet pump. if the clearance is to large between the impeller and the wear ring it will cause it to act the way you described. essentially it is like spinning your wheels, you cant transfer the power.

OK, seriously, you have a pump. Its the whole assembly around and including the impellor. If you get something stuck in there, or if the impellor blades or stator veins are damaged it can cause this. Also, if the seal between any of the pump sections is bad this can happen. Its called cavitation, do a search on it and you'll find alot of good info.

but i mean wouldent u think it would do it like over a period of time like i would have some warning, or would it be all of a sudden like it did?

If you think your engine is fine, then there has to be something wrong with the pump, or something on the driveline (i.e. stripped driveshaft splines).

so can somebody give me like a to do list, like first to last, so i can narrow down the possibilities of what is wrong?
someone please help

#1. Inspect drive line. start by looking at the intake grate and impeller housing.
look for any debris that could be effecting performance. If so remove.
#2. If the problem is not solved above take out pump and inspect drive shaft splines.
remove impeller and inspect stator vanes.
If you get this far I will advise on the removal. its not hard.

so for ********s and giggles i went ahead and put it back in the water and it worked fine, idk what it was but she started right up and went, i rode for a few minutes just to make sure it it works fine, maybe something got too hot, idk?

^^^Cant have your cake and eat it too. They're either cheap, or easy to install. Unless you want just use some lifter wedges.
