Super Jet 6m6- 61x flywheel question

I just picked up a lightened fly wheel for a 61x. My question is can I run it in my 6m6 and if so what has to be done? Will the 6m6 stator work or will I need a 61x stator?

The 6m6 and 61x flywheels/stators are the same.

No you can not. It will not charge the battery. I swapped all my electronics from my 6m6 because it was the only complete set up I had. Tried my 61x flywheel and it had spark so i ran it. Didn't last a day.

Ummm you must have had something else wrong... They are the same as far as I am aware.

I assure you, the only thing I ran different was the 61x flywheel. Killed 2 diffbatterirs in one day
Unless my electronics were switched to 62t before I bought mine, or my stator went bad between motor swaps. Possible
