Super Jet 701 62T carb tuning recommendations

I have a 2011 SJ and it currently has a B-pipe, ada head 35cc, msd, timing advanced 1 degree, and hooker 9/15. Ive looked everywhere on this forum and cant find any recommended setting for my set up.the carbs were for racing when I got it and I have not changed anything on the carbs but it has no bottom end even after I added the msd and ada 35cc head.

current carb setup
dual 38mm
135M
75P
1.5N
115g
2 on bottom
1 7/8 on top

I currently have a 85g spring and 2.0N that I want to use but I dont wanna blow it up. lol. I could care less if the ski goes over 30mph as long as it hits hard on the low end. I would rather for this being my first time doing this, have it setup more on the safer side even if that means a little less power. Thanks

The first thing to adjust is the low end adjuster screw (bottom) on each carb. Typically it is set to 1.5 turns. I would try this or even leaner, like 1.25 turns, and see if that noticeably beefs up your low end power.
Also, I am almost certain there are threads on this with more detail. I would suggest searching some more.
Carbs also might just need a good cleaning or a rebuild.
Good luck.

There is some good info in the Tech FAQ section on x-h2o.. including this link...

would it be safe for me to just add the 2.0N and 85g spring that I already have and set the lows and highs to 1 1/2 out and go out from there? not trying to tune it in completely as I know it will take awhile. just trying to get more power for the last ride of the summer for me this weekend.

That would put your pop off at 21 psi, which imo is way too low.....it will likely blubber a bit before pulling hard if at all, and foul plugs too.

you need 1,5 N/ S with 95 gram springs...

Follow what the guys are telling you. Your setup is probably the most common here and been done hundreds of times here.

The only thing you need to change from stock setup is the jets. Stay with the stock 1.5 needle and seats and 95 gram springs.
