Super Jet 701 B pipe on a 650

Found a B pipe, want to use it on my 650 till I get my 701. The girl at Factory Pipe says it won't even bolt up. I've read that it will bolt up just not the optimal chamber. Should I buy the pipe and use it on the 650 for now?

Post up here before you ever ask FP anything. They are notorious for misinformation.

Speaking of, that bpipe won't work at all on your 650. Send me the link. ;-)

Let me know how it works out I wanted to do the same thing a few months ago but decided not to buy the pipe for my 650 because the rude b**** at factory pipe said it "would 100% not fit, not even close"

I think (correct me if im wrong) there is only a difference because the sn came before the rn and factory pipe developed the pipe to work on the sn. After the rn was released they slighty changed the chamber design and made the manifold port larger. I know the mod pipe fits trouble free in the sn and also in a fx-1 not sure about the limited chamber though.

I have a 701 manifold on my 650....Er....6m6 cyl. I had the Headpipe and manifold opened to 48mm. Made a huge difference. Never did port match the Mani to the cyl.

Im going to freshen up the top end, mill the head and port match the manifold to the cylinder. The head pipe was already match ported so I'm good there. Should be a strong little 650.
