Was going to paint the bed plates bright orange but never got around to sandblaster them..

definitely can move while powder coating. suggest using a junk head and gasket bolted in place and cylinders upside down during the process

I started this thread a while back to get some inspiration for powder coating my 701 parts.

Thought I would post some pics of where I am now... I am quite pleased with it so far, I still need to get the rest of it together.

My cylinder is powder coated matte black with a wrinkle finish looks really good and hold up perfect no chips at all

I like to run whatever colour the parts come because they get covered in water spots anyway. Then just don't pop the hood at the lake and everyone thinks you are running the secret stuff

The colors are mostly for me. Considering the hood is off more than its on for me lol. Seems to be two hours work for an hour riding on any modded ski.

Not a 701 (sorry), but I just got my 750 Kawi back from the painter today. It's going in a super chicken.
