701 IND Surf Nozzle

This nozzle has been put through hell and has come out on top. For sure none of these tests were actually from a ski hitting the ocean floor, but we did our best to go past that impact range. The nozzle was first put in a 40 t press and flatten. It was then stood in the upright position and pressed. This caused the pivot tags to bend out at 90 Degrees , but because of its coned shape, it with held steady against full pressure. Then it was subjected to some huge blows from a sledge hammer and then the sharp end of a log splitter. The nozzle was constantly rotated so it was copping it from all sides. At this point, it was showing only one minor war wound. The it was subjected to being run over by a work van about 5 times. Still this nozzle stayed intact and ready to use. Then it was offer up to a excavator driver to do what ever he wanted , but he had to break this nozzle. He pounded it with his largest bucket, he tried to drop the sharp edge of the bucket in a attempt to cut it, he ran over it twice and then admitted he was defeated. At this stage the nozzle was pretty beat up and was oval from the excavator running over it twice. so to bring it back to shape so it could be used, we threw in a tub of hot water. Ten minutes later, it was back to its original shape. Finally, it was sat up against a wood pile and shot with a 12G with #3 buck shots. Not even this could affect this nozzle , with only one pellet sticking to it and the rest deflected off it. So after all that, this Duro nozzle could be fitted and used and you would not know it had been to hell and back. I would like to call this new Surf nozzle indestructible, but at the end of the day, a 300 win mag running a hollow point put this nozzle finally out of commission. Video will follow soon.

That is F'ing awesome!!!

Can you tell us geeks a little more about this stuff? Is it injection molded? Poor mold? 3D printed? I see some a lot of uses for this material. I googled it but not sure what I am googling...

701ind is dead, but I have one of these nozzles. Does anyone know how much quicker the steering is with this nozzle compared to stock? Also curious if the bore diameter makes any difference in thrust? Thanks

I have one. On a blaster. Made no difference with anything. The colour went all weird after about a year.

I bought one used and it is cracked. =/

I don't really know, but I think that a lot of this stuff he made out of plastic or whatever may have not handled salt exposure, heat, UV. Or whatever. The nozzle I got has definitely "got hard" or something after a few years, battery straps have also turned to poop.

"Surf tested" - only when new I guess? On a Blaster as well, thanks for your input!
