701 IND SURF ROCKER

3 Months in development and testing have now allow me to bring to the Blaster what I believe is a GAME CHANGER. The flat section across the bow of the Blaster has always been a issue for the Blaster freerider. The only way up until now was to buy a rocker kit, and cut up your Blaster to fit it. This then usually means a fuel tank swap out and so on. . A lot of expense , effort and then there is the down time. Resprays aren't cheap and then there is the water spray issue to battle.
701 came up with a simple in design yet highly effective Surf Rocker that takes less than 30 minutes to install. This Surf rocker is made from the latest in polymer tech and can be belted with a sledge hammer and not be damaged. Comes in Off-White, Black,Blue,Green, Orange, Red and Yellow.
This Surf Rocker has been developed with the help and knowledge of my 701Pilots in Aus and put through its paces . Next week it will on show at the first round of the IFWA being fitted to a stock Blaster hull which will be ridden by Jay333 in his quest to become a Blaster World Champion.
For a very short time these Surf Rockers will be offered around the World for a introductory price of $289.00. Once I have enough pics of different skis with different colours the price will be a RRP of $449.00.
For inside of the States , please let 701 Chris know if your wanting one at this price , for all other orders please email me direct. dave@701industries.com. Hope you like this as much as I do. WHOA

Hi X-H20,
My name is Matt O'Connor from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia and Im a test pilot for 701 Indutries.
I'm currently ranked 3rd in Oz and did so on a stock hull and my own built engine.
Have been competing for a couple of years and love the blaster scene. My passion is riding in the surf, in big swell.

Thanks for the opportunity to put this brilliant new 701 Industries invention through its paces, Dave.
This is mod instantly improved the design of the b1 for the surf.

I came up with 3 tests for the Surf Rocker:
1.speed
2.up
3.down

1 speed test was at the mouth of the maroochy river with around 30 knot head wind.
I hit it pinned.
the surf rocker changed the dynamic of the blaster 1 when it hit the chop, instead of digging it cut.
i felt the change in hull instantly, hitting the first wave was smooth, then the next, the next etc.
I turned, kept it pinned for ages and straight away loved the mod.

2 up test. pumping massive airs - atleast trying anyway. my theory was that the small additional weight would make it want to nose dive. no it did not. the design is heavier enough to give solid strength and light enough to not even know its there. I didnt notice any balance difference in the air.

3 down the face of a breaking wave.
The Surf Rocker kept the nose from digging in - that point when you know your going over the hangers - it never came.
After a while of hitting these faces with more confidence I found myself hanging onto the back of the wave and leaving it later, and later to run down it - so in summary... the Surf Rocker made me a better rider hence I had more fun.
once you try it youll want one

Excited to get one of these ordered and put on my B1! Looks like an awesome product. What hardware is included or required with the kit?
The Surf Rocker comes with the 6 mounting screws. all you need is a marine sealant and a battery drill. They are super easy to fit. I fitted one on the beach the other day. jay flip 4.png

Thanks......we'd love to give them away too, but then we would cease to be able to make parts ;) contrary to popular thought, there really isn't much money being made on jet ski parts......the volume of sales just isn't there.

How are they on flatwater? I have a Carter B kit going on one blaster. I'd love to try this out in comparison but the other blaster was going to be my lake ski. Maybe ill have two surf boats at that price.

Having the variety of colours allows you to tie it into the theme of the ski, And doesn't always have to match the rear transom theme. Here is some pics of ones I fitted. There is a few on route to the States now and when you have fitted them please post up your pics.
