Zimmy, ScottieMac , Matt, & Tricky, welcome to the 701INDUSTRIES test pilot programme. you all come highly recommend from Nizzit and i have his back 100%. As i come up with new stuff it will then sent to you boys via Chris for you to fit & flog. the same R&D has been runnig here in Aus for a while now and for 701 has been a huge success. some of the first products you will receive have all ready been in & out of product testing and our now coming to market to feed us a/m starved Blaster boyz. my standup pilots will have to be patient as the Blaster has centre stage. i will be keen as for all of your feed back, good or bad i want it. you guys are the first boyz outside of Aus to fit some of the most game changeing parts to hit the Blaster & standup scene. thanks for your commitment. Keirin,

You are the man! Can't wait to get my second 1100 done to try out the part in the turf and on the course.

Dave,

Thanks for allowing me to be a part of the test crew. I really appreciate it.

Great video! Rolls look nice and tight! Every time I look at this steering setup and the mount design I get more stoked about getting them on my ski. Thanks or the hook up Dave!

another idea for a game changer product for the b1 and the main reason I stopped riding my b1 in the surf as much as the standup is the strain on the knees it takes to surf ride one well.
The center of gravity is too high on them and strains your knees in hard surf turns. dealing with the blaster bobber effect in landing big airs. If you cut the footwells out and make a mold about 6 inches plus lower....there is ALOT of space under there. Zimmy and I have been riding blasters in the surf for a long time,Hes had so many crusty beat up b1 hulls in the back yard Since I first mentioned it to him we always planned on doing it but never got around to it.

Would be a great modular part if they were sold with a cut template and just drop in and glass to the edges with a couple layers of biax and turf..With 6 to 8 inch lower footwells and a adjustable higher steering stem so you could stand straighter up on the ski with a lower center of gravity,it would be 3x more capable freeride ski...A affordable carbon one piece hood with reworked air intakes that can take a lil punishment would be a great part also

Yeah I have a hull ready to run the lowered foot holds but ran the rear water box instead. With the shortened rear end and rear water box there isn't much space to lower the footholds.

I must say that once the back end was shortened a little bit, I don't have any issues with blaster bob, the hull lands and sits very well!

The lowered footholds would be nice to try, maybe ill mock up a rough proto type in the next few months... Will have to see how time permits...

the blaster bob is the least of its problems with high footwells. Its just a small annoyance for anyone thats not a heavy weight. its how high you stand in the wells, too high center grav and it sucks to have to bend over the whole time.
Imagine the wells being very low all the way to the very back of ski, almost to the very back, making the stepup more at the back of ski and ALOT of the very rear cut down lower, kinda like the x2,done right when you slow down to idle the back of the footwells would be underwater, just like the x2

So is 701 selling the rocker nose kit or is this something that one of your dealers is selling?

Curious BC although it is rediculously overpriced, it shows that fiberglass parts are a possibility which makes me hopeful for a fresh one piece hood from 701 :)
